Bootleggers in the city centre is one of my favourite places to eat in Belfast without a doubt. It is perfect if you want to go for chill drinks and food with your friends, or for pre drinks before a night out.

Open from 12:00- 21:00 Monday - Saturday, and from 13:00 on Sundays, Bootleggers offer their casual lunch menu from open to close, including meals such as their Tacos, burgers and dirty fries.

Bootlegger's is American inspired from their decor to their menu, with a cosy rustic and vintage theme. Their menu is heavenly and will leave you craving more with the perfect portion sizes for you to share with your friends or have as a meal yourself. The range of flavours setting Bootleggers apart are to die for from their aioli and hot sauce cover southern fried chicken to their BBQ pulled pork, each one is delicious.

Bootleggers are known for their killer cocktails with a variety to choose from, and not just the basics. Some examples are the 'bye bye miss apple pie' - apple infused McConnell's 5 year, apple whisky liqueur, acid adjusted apple juice with vanilla and cinnamon syrup and the 'Rocket 88'- Bootleggers Poitin, raspberry, cranberry, rhubarb liqueur, lime soda with whites. Even on the pricier side, the cocktails are a must try. If cocktails aren't your go to, there are plenty of other options at your disposal, including every colour of wine, multiple ciders and beers.

My Experience in Bootleggers is always perfect and lives up to expectations every time. Booking a table in advance isn't an option and it is a first come first serve bases which can be inconvenient, but this isn't an issue if you aren't in a hurry as you can add your name to the waitlist and have a drink at the bar until your table is ready, the perfect opportunity to try a cocktail or two. With my meal I got the siracha mayo and the garlic aioli dip making my meal even better.

Bootleggers is easily accessible and within walking distance to multiple bus stops and train stations. 

I would highly recommend Bootleggers to anyone who is looking for a place to enjoys delicious food and chill drinks with friends in a cosy and friendly atmosphere.
